ZebraBloom® All-in-One is a ready-to-use liquid concentrate rotifers diet (8% DW) with a balanced blend of high-quality microalgae (Nannochloropsis sp., Tisochrysis lutea and Tetraselmis chui) and water conditioners to reduce toxic ammonia and control the pH.
The product is in a user-friendly density for automatic pumping or manual feeding. ZebraBloom® All-in-One stands out by the easy maintenance of rotifers in semi-continuous and batch production, providing high zebrafish larvae quality and improve breeders egg production.

ZebraBloom® All-in-One significantly increased (60%) the total number of rotifers in semi-continuous production compared to a commercial product.
Rotifers cultivated with ZebraBloom® All-in-One, showed significantly higher percentage of eggs (32%) compared to a commercial product enhancing rotifers population breeding efficiency.
Larvae fed with rotifers containing Zebrabloom® All-in-One, increased (6%) the larvae length and survival at 15 DPF (Days Post Fertilization) compared to a commercial product, boosting larvae growth.
Zebrafish breeders fed with rotifers enriched in ZebraBloom® All-in-One showed significantly higher percentage of eggs compared to a commercial microdiet (123%), enhancing zebrafish breeding efficiency.
ZebraBloom® All-in-One is a microalgae-based product developed during the ZEBRABLOOM project (ALG-01-0247-FEDER-039896). This project aimed to develop a microalgae diet specifically designed according to zebrafish nutritional requirements and to simplify rotifers cultivation in zebrafish facilities. Zebrafish facility managers face challenges in rotifers cultivation due to productivity fluctuations throughout time in semi-continuous and batch production modes.
During this project, multiple microalgae blends were tested (1) for zebrafish larvae nutrition, (2) for breeders nutritional supplementation, and (3) for rotifers production, to reach an optimal formula for all these purposes. Moreover, the use of water conditioners in the formula supports the adequate maintenance of rotifers cultivation conditions reducing the toxic ammonia and control the pH.
