Marnoto Traditional Sea Salt is hand-harvested from the small crystallizers of artisanal salt pans along the Atlantic coast. Each grain is carefully collected using a manual rake, while the delicate fleur de sel is harvested with a specialized sieve rake, ensuring absolute purity and integrity.
After hand-harvesting, Marnoto Traditional Sea Salt undergoes only a gentle manual cleaning to remove minor debris, such as leaves or seeds from the surrounding natural vegetation. It is never processed with industrial chemicals, preserving its natural purity and mineral richness.

Produced in small, centuries-old salt pans using ancestral methods, Marnoto Traditional Sea Salt is a 100% natural product. No chemical additives or industrial processing are used, only seawater, solar energy, and human craftsmanship.
The natural crystallization process is carefully managed to preserve the majority of the minerals present in seawater, making it a nutritionally complete salt. After crystallization, the salt is hand-harvested and sun-dried for a minimum of five days to allow residual water to evaporate, maximizing its magnesium and iodine content. Its natural white color and slight moisture are among the unique characteristics of this sea salt. Traditional Sea Salt is ideal for cooking and seasoning dishes throughout the preparation process.
Fleur de Sel consists of light, paddle-shaped crystals with an exceptionally bright whiteness. These delicate crystals form on the surface of the small salt pan beds, creating a thin, fragile layer that is carefully collected daily using a manual rake — but only under perfect weather conditions.
The main advantage of Fleur de Sel is its flavor — or more precisely, the complex flavors it brings out in food.
